On Monday, news broke that Georgia football star quarterback Carson Beck suffered a UCL injury in his right elbow, potentially ending his 2024 season before the start of the College Football Playoff. On the final play of the first half during last weekend’s SEC Championship, Beck suffered an upper-body injury following a sack-fumble. Beck, a two-year starter for the Georgia Bulldogs, finished the evening 7-of-13 for 56 yards. On the season, the six-foot-four, 220-pound signal-caller accounted for 3,485 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 12 picks.
The latest injury news surrounding Beck could spell the end of his career with Georgia football, a tenure that dates back to 2020. Beck spent three years as a backup, including playing behind fellow passer Stetson Bennett during the team’s title runs in 2021 and 2022.
