Week Two of the College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday night, and the Georgia Bulldogs were the night’s big story.
This past weekend, the Bulldogs rolled into Oxford, Mississippi, and lost to Ole Miss 28-10. This was their second loss on the season, and many wanted to know where they would be ranked in Tuesday’s playoff rankings.
Georgia was ranked 12th, and I know what you’re saying: They would be the last team in the playoffs since there are 12 teams this year, but that would not be accurate because Boise State was ranked 13th. The highest-rated Non-Power Four conference champ gets a playoff spot, and that would go to the Broncos, leaving the Bulldogs at home.

If the @CFBPlayoff started today, @GeorgiaFootball is the first team out… Bama, Ole Miss, Tenn and Texas are in.

The … College Football Playoff bracket … means …. NOTHING right now
Don’t get into the slightest twist, Georgia people. It’ll be the national champion if it doesn’t lose another game the rest of the season

Man, seeing Georgia out of the college football playoff at any point is WEIRD.
