Georgia is the top-ranked team in college football and the favorite to win the title this season. College football runs through the Bulldogs, and you must take them down to win it all.
The Bulldogs have won two of the last three national championships and have been a great program on the field, but they have many areas of concern off the field, and a lot of that has to do with driving-related incidents.
Since January 2023, Georgia has had 25 players linked to driving-related offenses, which is uncalled for. This week, another Bulldog was caught driving reckless cornerback Daniel Harris. One of the best college football analysts was very critical of Georgia on Saturday, right before the kick-off of Week Three.
Georgia’s Driving Incidents Are Pretty Pathetic
Josh Pate from CBS Sports stated that the latest Georgia player to be caught recklessly driving is pretty pathetic. He stated he was at Georgia’s facility in the spring and talked to Kirby Smart about the driving incidents off and on record. He thinks Smart and the coaching staff have done everything possible to communicate the message, but the players aren’t learning anything.

Georgia has a serious issue on its hands, and it doesn’t seem fixable at the moment. It’s great that they are winning football games, but these driving incidents are very serious, and the players just don’t get it.
Two years ago, a Georgia football player and staff member were killed in a racing incident, and there have been 25 driving incidents since at the program.
If players didn’t learn anything from one of their teammates dying, then they most likely will never learn.
