George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers tight end, recently came to his teammate Brock Purdy’s defense, especially in his decision to buy his offensive linemen a new Toyota truck last Christmas. Kittle spoke about this during his latest appearance on the ‘Bussing With The Boys’ podcast, including several other topics.
Last Christmas, Brock Purdy gifted each offensive lineman a brand-new Toyota truck while he was still in his rookie contract. While the gift was truly generous, the talented starting quarterback was criticized by many fans who felt that it was a waste of money and that he was not maintaining his finances very well. However, Kittle revealed that the offensive linemen simply got free leases with the trucks.
“The best part about that is that everyone is arguing online like, ‘Oh my god, he spent his whole contract on that’. No, they got free leases. I think everyone gets a two to three-year lease for a Toyota.” George Kittle said about Brock Purdy’s generous gifts to his offensive linemen last Christmas.
George Kittle says Brock Purdy did not buy his offensive linemen Toyotas last year for the Holidays:

George Kittle also spoke at length about how much he spends on his health and recovery during a football season. Apparently, the tight end has gotten really into stem cell therapy and has been using them to be in tip-top shape as a football player. Kittle remarked that the expenditure comes close to 250k for one year in terms of his health.

George Kittle Reveals When He Will Retire From NFL
George Kittle also revealed when he will retire from his career in the National Football League in his appearance on the ‘Bussing With The Boys’ podcast. While the tight end did not exactly give a date or a year, Kittle simply mentioned that he would retire whenever he is no longer having fun with his game.
“Literally until I don’t have fun anymore or until Claire looks at me and goes ‘you kinda look like sh*t out there, you should retire” George Kittle spoke about his retirement plans in the ‘Bussing With The Boys’ podcast.

George Kittle is definitely having plenty of fun right now in the NFL, especially after his new contract extension made him the highest-paid tight end in the history of the league. With lots of green coming in right now, it is definitely sure that the tight end will not be making any retirement plans anytime soon. Plus, Kittle will also be eager to win at least one Super Bowl ring before he hangs up his cleats.
