The booth went silent and then social media exploded. The reason? Tom Brady, who just accidentally cursed on live television.

Tom Brady dropped an F-bomb in mid-segment during Sunday’s Eagles-Giants clash. The seven-time Super Bowl champ probably forgot he wasn’t mic’d up on the sideline anymore. Some old habits die hard.
Tom Brady Drops F-Bomb on Live TV During Eagles-Giants Game
Brady is currently working on his second season with Fox Sports after signing a 10-year deal in 2022. He’s also a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, meaning he’s got skin in the game from multiple angles. The former Patriots quarterback replaced Greg Olsen in the booth and now calls games with play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.
However, the awkward and raunchy slip happened midway through the first quarter. Brady was breaking down Jalen Hurts’ scrambling ability when things went sideways. He said, “The D-line is almost there to get him, and then, nope, he just squirts away, and they can’t f——‘… uh, just like that.”

It felt like everyone in the Fox truck stopped breathing for a second. However, this isn’t Brady’s first rodeo with profanity on air. During an appearance on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” last month, he dropped the “s” word three times before FS1’s tech team could censor it.

The quarterback who cursed his way through two decades on the gridiron is still learning how to keep it clean in civilian life. The cringeworthy moment sliced through the broadcast like a hot knife. Interestingly, there was no delay button fast enough to catch it.
NFL Fans React to Tom Brady’s Hot Mic Moment
Social media reacted explosively and expressed shock shortly after hearing the f-bomb live. His on-air slip occurred so quickly and unexpectedly that the network didn’t have enough time to make a change.
One fan fired off, “Fox Sending Fire Notice Right Now.” The joke landed because everyone knows what’s at stake. That’s a third of a billion dollars walking the tightrope between analyst and liability.
Another added, “Tom Brady dropping the F bomb while talking about Jalen Hurts wasn’t on my card for today, but what a fun twist it was.”
A third fan put it in perspective, penning, “Brady dropped an F bomb in the booth. There’s no flag on roughing Hurts, which Mahomes gets all the time. The make-up was the tush push fumble wasn’t called. Burkhardt compares bad reffing to Elaine Benes dancing. This game has something for everyone.”
Someone else predicted, “Tom Brady dropped f bombs on national tv and fox not gone say S***.” They might be right. Fox hasn’t issued any statement yet.
And the fifth fan wondered, “Did Brady just say the F word and try to smooth it over?” The answer is yes. it was not his best moment.
Brady’s transition from GOAT to broadcaster continues to provide a must-see TV moment, but don’t take it for granted. It is not always for the right reasons.
