Michigan will roll into Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, November 30th, to take on an Ohio State team they have done great against in the past, beating them the last three years, but this time, it will be a lot different.
The Wolverines have turned into a horrible team this season, and there is a great chance they will lose to the Buckeyes by at least 30, but one former coach who helped beat Ohio State in the past will be back on campus this week to maybe help with the gameplan to attack the Buckeyes.
Michigan Gets An Old Friend Back
Earlier in the week, Charlotte fired head coach Biff Poggi after their 3-7 start on the season. The 65-year-old coach used to be on the sidelines for Michigan.
Poggi came to the Wolverines in 2016 as an analyst but left after that season to coach at the St. Frances Academy before returning to Michigan as Jim Harbaugh’s assistant head coach in 2021 and 2022.
The former Charlotte head coach stated on X “Love my players at CLT love my coaches and staff at CLT love the students at CLT I will be spending Friday and Saturday with my old friend @Coach_SMoore #goblue”
Love my players at CLT ✅ love my coaches and staff at CLT ✅ love the students at CLT ✅ I will be spending Friday and Saturday with my old friend @Coach_SMoore #goblue

Michigan will take on Northwestern this weekend, but Poggi could stay another week to help prepare them for Ohio State.
Poggi helped beat the Buckeyes twice in 2021 and 2022, so maybe he will help Sherrone Moore out and give him some tips. The 38-year-old head coach is having an awful year, and beating Ohio State will help save it.
