Michigan fans are having a rough year with their football team. With two games left, the Wolverines are still playing to reach bowl eligibility.
Many fans wouldn’t have thought in a million years that Michigan would be this bad so soon after last year’s national title-winning season, but a lot has changed over the year.
Former head coach Jim Harbaugh left for the NFL, and a handful of their top players also headed pro, leaving many young guys and new head coach Sherrone Moore with huge shoes to fill.
Another reason Michigan has been bad this year is because they are no longer cheating. Their leader in the sign streaming scandal, Connor Stalions, stepped down from the team last season after being caught, and former linebackers coach Chris Partridge was also fired for allegedly destroying evidence of the cheating scandal.
Former Michigan Coach Didn’t Destroy Anything?
Partridge is now an outside linebackers coach for the Seattle Seahawks, but he made a statement on social media Sunday afternoon about his role in last year’s cheating scandal.
Sunday, November 17th, was the one-year mark when Partridge was fired for destroying evidence, and the former linebacker coach had to make it clear that he had nothing to do with the cheating scandal and tweeted out,” Never destroyed anything!!, But life goes on. Go Hawks!”

Interestingly, even a year after being fired, Partridge is still trying to defend himself. When the entire country forgot his role in the cheating scandal, he reminded everyone that he played a major part in it.

The only people who know, other than Partridge, what his role was is the NCAA, who will be handing down some punishment to the Wolverines shortly.
