Former Georgia Quarterback Stetson Bennett Lost A Serious Bet, Which Made Him Do Something Bulldog Fans Won’t Like

Georgia has become the best program in college football over the past few years, and a lot of it has to do with their former quarterback, Stetson Bennett, who brought home two titles for the school.

Bennett is now in his second year with the Los Angeles Rams, and the man who took his job at Georgia, Carson Beck, has had a hard time beating Alabama. Last year, Beck’s only loss was to the Crimson Tide; this past weekend, he went down the same road.

Georgia went to Tuscaloosa and lost to Alabama again. This was bad for many people around the Bulldogs program and just as horrible for Bennett, who had to pay up his major bet.

Georgia’s Stetson Bennett Had To Wear Alabama Gear

Usually, when players get to the NFL, they have side bets with their teammates when their two colleges are going at in on the field, and this time, Bennett lost a bet to tight end Miller Forristall, who played for the Crimson Tide from 2016-2020.

Forristall posted a picture on social media of Bennett in an Alabama hat and polo with the caption, “Stetson Loves the Tide.”

Forristall shouldn’t be smiling too much because a rematch could be possible this season. The two could meet in the SEC title game or in the playoffs, and there is a great chance Georgia will get its revenge.

It will be interesting to see the two teams meet again because, at the moment, they are both the best teams in the sport, with Texas also being in the mix.

Georgia will head to Texas in a little over two weeks, and if they can win that game, there is a great chance we could see another Alabama vs Georgia game this season.

Wasn’t this already a revenge game for UGA? So why would another matchup be any different? Yes, the game has to be played. Still, I guess they can go for revenge of the revenge they couldn’t get the first try, but sorry, no guarantees they get it.
