Receiver Depth
Just to give you a rundown, the Buccaneers currently have the following receivers: Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Russell Gage, Kyle Rudolph, Scotty Miller, Tyler Johnson, Breshad Perriman, Jalen Dardon, and now Julio Jones. Tom Brady, who led the league in touchdowns this past season will have multiple options to throw to.
Brady reaching out?
It was rumored that on March 17th, Tom Brady reached out to Julio Jones to sign with the Buccaneers. I also reported on this on my NFL page (keep scrolling)

Original favorites to sign Julio Jones

According to SI, the Bucs were favored third in the league to sign Jones to a contract. The first team? The Indianapolis Colts, as many fans wanted to see both Matt Ryan and Julio Jones reunite one last time. The Packers had heavy interest in Julio Jones with Davante Adams leaving Green Bay in free agency to become a Las Vegas Raider.
A potential reason for this signing
A very important reason for the signing was due to Chris Godwin’s status for this upcoming season. Godwin suffered an ACL tear last year and could be a major reason for the Julio Jones signing to occur. In his seasons with both the Falcons and the Titans, Jones posted up 13,330 receiving yards, and 61 touchdowns throughout his career. At 33, his body hasn’t been what it was, as he only played just 10 games last season as a member of the Titans.
