There were punishments handed out to the Michigan Wolverines football program, Jim Harbaugh, Sherrone Moore, and others by the NCAA in reference to the in-game stealing signals which was led by Connor Stalions. There was a lot of outrage by college football fans about the punishment that was handed to the Michigan football program.

Well, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.com, he reported the latest and said,
“News: Both the University of Michigan and head coach Sherrone Moore have withdrawn their appeals in the NCAA infractions case centered around advanced scouting.”
With them withdrawing their appeals in the NCAA infractions case, it will be interesting to see what will happen next.
College Football Fans React to the Michigan Wolverines Withdrawing Their Appeal

There is no surprise that a lot of college football fans respond on Twitter to this latest report of Michigan withdrawing their appeal. This is what some of them said:

Advanced scouting lol that’s like someone robbing a grocery store and calling it advanced shopping

That’s because they were Guilty of the Worst Cheating Scandal in College History. should have been Stripped of Everything! Harbaugh and Co are Cancers to the Sport.

Looks like Michigan’s ready to take the hit and move on…dragging this out probably would’ve done more damage than the penalty itself.

When Michigan won the national title in 2023, they had a 15-0 record. They won the BIG10 title and also defeated the Washington Huskies in the big game. There are a lot of college football fans, especially Ohio State Buckeyes fans, who will list the 2023 title for Michigan as a major asterisk. With that being said, Wolverines fans probably don’t care that they were “cheating” during the 2023 season and before that as well.
