Florida State Seminoles Fan Vows to Break Viral Bet Curse If Team Drops to 1-6

The Florida State Seminoles have been struggling on the field, and the fans have been struggling to cope with the team off the field.

Ahead of the Boston College clash, a viral tweet was put out from an account named “321nole” wagered a bet that would never be cashed. The owner of the account, who never publicly stated his name on his account, stated he would “eat dog poop from a solo cup” if the Florida State Seminoles lost. The Seminoles would go on to lose the game, 28-13, and his account was swiftly deleted off the platform.

While his identity has remained a mystery and his account is no longer, the Florida State Seminoles fans and college football fans alike have not forgotten. As Scott Van Pelt stated, “The internet does not forget” regarding the bet the fan behind the “321nole” account made. The tweet became viral to the point where analysts would claim they are picking against the Florida State Seminoles due to the bet not being fulfilled.

Since his post, the Seminoles have not won a game and many are starting to believe the team is “cursed” since the bet was never completed.

The comparison many fans have made is to another similar fan account for the Kansas State Wildcats. The fan, who is also anonymous for clear reasons, bet that if the Wildcats lost to BYU he would place a full-size burrito into an unwanted area. Unlike “321nole”, the fan fulfilled the bet, and unfortunately provided an image of the purchase of the burrito to his account.

Second Florida State Seminoles Fan Account Steps Forward to Break Bet Curse

While one fan has aimed to disappear off the internet, another fan for the Florida State Seminoles has stepped forward to attempt the bet.

As many college football fans continue to say the “poop curse” is a real thing, one Florida State Seminoles fan has agreed to do the bet. The only terms are that the losing streak continues against the Duke Blue Devils, who have notably been dominated by the Seminoles over time. The account named “DJ Ventora” also promised to potentially wager the same bet for the following games should the team lose again.

While the original post cannot be added due to vulgarity, the account did continue to interact with the original post. The user doubled down on his bet and told many of the doubters that he “truly” would come through on this notable wager.
