The Florida State Seminoles football program has had a rotten week. After being snubbed by the College Football Playoff committee, they are starting to lose some players to the transfer portal. Offensive lineman Bless Harris announced today that he will be entering the transfer portal.

Florida State Seminoles OL Bless Harris Enters Transfer Portal
Per PFF, Harris played 390 snaps this season and was a big part of the rushing attack that helped the Florida State offense be so potent. After missing most of 2022, he could never find his rhythm in 2023 due to nagging injuries. He has one year of eligibility left because of past injuries but 2024 will be his seventh season of college football. Harris will be a savvy veteran presence on whatever line he ends up on.

Revenge Tour In 2024
No doubt the Seminoles program will be on a revenge tour in 2024. They want to show that they belong amongst the elite of college football. The playoff is expected to expand to 12 teams meaning they have a great shot at making it if they take the ACC again. However, it will not be easy. Star edge rusher Patrick Payton shockingly entered the portal and reports have come out saying it is likely due to an NIL dispute. Mike Norvell and his staff will need to figure out how to replenish the talent so they can make another run at the ACC crown.

The Seminoles have a great opportunity to show everyone how good they are by beating Georgia in their bowl game. While it isn’t in the playoffs, that victory could go a long way in showing the world just how good they are.
