The Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs will be playing each other at Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, November 2 with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. Georgia is the second-ranked team in the country and Florida is unranked.
The Bulldogs and the Gators have been arch-rivals for a very long time. This is a very heated rivalry that has a very interesting future ahead.
The Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs Rivalry Will Leave Jacksonville, Florida In 2026 and 2027
The Gators and the Bulldogs rivalry will be having a new home for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. They will not be playing the games in Jacksonville, Florida because of renovations at Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville. Florida.
In 2026, the game will be in Atlanta, Georgia, and in 2027, the game will be played in Tampa Bay, Florida. This was a long-overdue move. Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart said in an SEC Coaches teleconference on Wednesday:
“It’s been talked about and debated for a long time, for a while, since we’ve known the Jacksonville renovation was going to occur and I think the parties involved did a great job managing it and I think Jacksonville did a great job stepping up and making it worthwhile for both universities and I’m excited about the opportunity to play at two different locations. That’ll be unique and maybe we learn from those two experiences.”
Some people believe that this rivalry should have been just on the campuses of the Bulldogs and the Gators instead of neutral sites. Well, it will be interesting to see where the games will be played after the 2027 season with this rivalry.

A lot of Bulldogs, Gators, and college football fans agree that these games should be on Georgia’s campus and Florida’s campus. The fact that these games are at neutral sites still after leaving Jacksonville in two years is crazy. It will be interesting to see how it will all play out in the end.
