Florida Gators: Florida Fans Are Calling For Billy Napier’s Job After An Embarrassing Loss To Miami

The Florida Gators’ season got off to an awful start on Saturday when they fell at home to Miami, and fans have had enough of their head coach, Billy Napier.

Napier is now in his third season with the program. He didn’t finish over .500 in his first two seasons and failed to make a bowl game last year.

The 45-year-old head coach’s hot seat was already warm coming into the season, and it just got a lot warmer Saturday evening.

The only issue is that Florida’s athletic director, Scott Stricklin, was on the Paul Finebaum show Friday afternoon and stated,” I really believe Billy Napier is going to be the coach at Florida for a long, long time.”

It doesn’t sound encouraging that the Gators will make a move anytime soon, and there is a chance Napier will keep his job at the end of this season, no matter what happens.

Many Florida fans have had enough of Napier already. After Saturday’s loss to Miami, they took to social media and attacked him, calling for his job.

Signing a 7-year contract, the Florida Gators program is hopeful Billy Napier can guide one of the biggest college football brands back to the top of the sport.
