It’s been almost over 96 hours since Florida got beat in an embarrassing way to instate rival Miami on Saturday, and Gator fans have already had enough of the 45-year-old head coach.
After the game was over on Saturday, Florida fans took to social media to call for Napier’s job. Some fans have even suggested replacements for him, like former coach Urban Meyer and Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin.
While there is a good chance that Napier won’t be on the sidelines in Gainesville next season, there is a little chance that Meyer and Kiffin will be one of the guys to replace him.
Florida fans will have to stick with Napier for most likely the next 11 games in the season, where they will probably win three or four, and ESPN’s FPI rankings think the Gators will only win one game this season, with them being underdogs in the other ten.
Gator fans are doing everything they can to get rid of their head coach, and one fan took matters into his own hands and created a GoFundMe page to send Napier out of town.

A Gator fan started his GoFundMe page titled Help Send Billy Napier to Early Retirement to raise $26,000,0000.

Napier’s buyout is 26 million dollars, and Florida fans are trying to raise the money themselves. It’s not working since only 20 dollars have been donated at the moment, but at least it was worth a try.
Florida fans are trying to do everything they can to remove their head coach, and it won’t work. They will have to suffer through an entire season, and then, hopefully, there will be a change this winter.
The only bad news is that the Gators haven’t been able to find a head coach since Urban Meyer left in 2010. What makes anyone think they will find their next guy this time around?
Florida is nowhere close to the program they were in the mid-2000s with Meyer and quarterback Tim Tebow. What head coach would want to come in and be the next guy when every coach they have hired in the last 14 years hasn’t worked out?
It will be interesting to see what the Gators do with Napier at the end of the season. If they fire him, who will be the next head coach to replace him?
