The Florida Gators finished with a 7-5 record this season. Entering the 2024 season, many thought that Florida was going to win less than six games and also see head coach Billy Napier fired. However, Napier is going to be getting another season and one of the reasons why his job was saved is because of freshman quarterback D.J. Lagway.
Lagway has a lot of potential for the next couple of seasons with the Florida Gators. Florida has a chance to be a better football team in 2025. However before they can focus on the 2025 season, the Gators will face the Tulane Green Wave in the Gasparilla Bowl next Friday.
Florida Gators 2025 Schedule Released
The Florida Gators will start the season on August 30 against LIU. Florida will begin SEC Conference play against the LSU Tigers on September 13. They will face in-state rivals the Miami Hurricanes on September 20. Florida will have a bye-week before they face the Texas Longhorns on October 4.
Some of the other key conference games will be against the Texas A&M Aggies on October 11, the Georgia Bulldogs on November 1, and the Tennessee Volunteers on November 22. Florida will end the regular season against the Florida State Seminoles on November 29.

Thought the Florida Georgia game was moved to Atlanta next year due to stadium renovations?

9-3 will update after the spring.

Those bye weeks are doing the lords work

Winning nine games next season would be a successful season for the Florida Gators because they have been dreadful over the past couple of seasons under head coach Billy Napier. If they don’t go at least 8-4 in 2025, Napier will be out of a job.
