The Penn State Nittany Lions lost to the UCLA Bruins on the road by a final score of 42-37. This was an extremely bad loss for the Nittany Lions.

They were ranked in the Top 10 and they are now not ranked. There are a lot of fans are who calling for head coach James Franklin to be fired. Penn State lost against the Oregon Ducks in overtime the previous week. Their playoff hopes are all but dashed at this point.
Penn State Nittany Lions Fans Want the James Franklin Era to End

It maybe all over in the Franklin era for Penn State. They are probably going to be making a coaching change once the season ends. He has been the head coach since the 2014 season, and it is time for the program to have new blood. This is what some Nittany Lions fans had to say after the loss against the Bruins:
Fire James Franklin. This entire game is fireable. He’s the worst coach of any top 25 team. You can’t justify this anymore, you cannot. Franklin needs to go as PSU’s head coach. They’re horrible. They’re a horrible football team.

James Franklin absolutely has to be fired after this horrific performance and bonehead clock management.

Fire James Franklin.

They are a disappointment to this season and so has been quarterback Drew Allar. There is a chance that Penn State finishes with an 8-4 record and loses to the Indiana Hoosiers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. If that’s the case, then Franklin is going to be looking for work elsewhere next year also.
