The Indianapolis Colts lost another game on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers by a final score of 48-27. With the loss for Indianapolis, they drop to 8-7 on the season.

They have to win out, and the Houston Texans have to lose the last two games in order to make the playoffs. If the Colts miss the playoffs, there are going to be questions about the roster moving forward. A lot of fans are not blaming head coach Shane Steichen this morning. A lot of fans are blaming general manager Chris Ballard for the team potentially missing the playoffs once again this season.
Indianapolis Colts Fans Want GM Chris Ballard Fired After Another Loss Against the San Francisco 49ers

The Ballard haters were quiet when the Colts were winning games earlier in the season. Now that Indianapolis has been sliding, the haters are back out once again on Twitter. This is what some Colts fans had to say about Ballard on Twitter after another loss:
I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY OF MY MONEY ON THIS SORRY FRANCHISE UNTIL CHRIS BALLARD IS FIRED!!!! ENOUGH WITH THIS REGIME!!! WE NEED CHANGE DESPERATELY!!! PLEASE CARLIE FIRE BALLARD pic.twitter.com/I8NHymnFkb

So when Steichen and Ballard have their presser in 3 weeks, how many excuses will we get for 11 years no division title and 7 years mediocrity in every metric? At what point are there actual consequences for failure in this organization ffs.

First team in 30 years to start 8-2 and miss the playoffs. Well done Chris Ballard

We won’t win for the rest of this season. We won’t make the playoffs this season. We won’t even make the playoffs next season either. This is Chris Ballard football.

This loss falls on the defense. They needed to step up and they didnt. You should be ashamed. Phil did a great job for not being with the team 2 weeks. In the 1st 1/2, he threw the ball with surgical precision.

Trading away two first round selections for Sauce Gardner does not look good at the moment for this team. Ballard tried to make this football team, but it did not work out for some reason. Indianapolis is on the verge of missing the playoffs again this season and have not been there since the 2020 season.
It is going to be interesting to see if the Colts can win the final two games of the season and get some help or not. Philip Rivers has not been a problem in the two games that he has appeared in. They will next play against the Jacksonville Jaguars (11-4 record).
