It is about that time in the week where you need to lock in who is going to be in your fantasy football lineups going into this weekend’s slate of games in the NFL. We have reached the final week of the regular season in fantasy football and it is important to put in the players that will get you the maximum number of points. Here are the players you should start heading into week 14:
Quarterback Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings

Kirk Cousins will look to bounce back after going up against a talented Jets secondary that tested the veteran quarterback. Cousins finished the game with only 173 passing yards and a touchdown in the Vikings win over the Jets in Week 13. The veteran quarterback should be due to have a better showing this week as he will be going up against a defense that has struggled all year.
Minnesota will take on the Detroit Lions this weekend. On the year, Detroit has allowed 23.2 fantasy points per game to the quarterback position, which is the most in the NFL. The last time out these two teams faced was in week three and Cousins was able to have success against the Lions. Cousins threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns. His outing in week three was good enough for him to finish with 18.3 fantasy points against Detroit.
Week 14 is testing managers as several teams are on the bye, so if you are in this department Cousins would be a go-to replacement. Opposing quarterbacks have been able to take advantage of the matchup against Detroit and Cousins will be next in line.
Running Back D’Onta Foreman, Carolina Panthers

Ever since the Carolina Panthers traded away Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers, D’Onta Foreman has been the lead back for the Panthers. The Panthers were able to rest up during their bye week in week 13, but they will now prepare to take on the Seattle Seahawks
Foreman will receive a favorable matchup heading into week 14 as the Seahawks defense have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to the running back position (27.7). In the last two weeks of the season, both Josh Jacobs and Cam Akers have been able to have success against a Seattle defense that has struggled to defend the run all year, especially this month.
Pair that with Foreman’s recent success with the Panthers offense, this puts him as a go-to start this week. The Panthers have been relying heavily on Foreman and the rushing attack. Look for that continue as the Panthers will travel out west to take on the Seahawks.
Wide Receiver Garrett Wilson, New York Jets

Garrett Wilson makes his second-straight appearance on the starts of the week list as we head into week 14. Wilson continued his success with Mike White as the rookie wide receiver hauled in eight receptions for 162 yards in the 27-22 loss to the Vikings in week 13. The former Ohio State product continues to see an elevated target share with White being under center and he is slowly becoming the WR1 for New York.
Wilson and the Jets will take on the Buffalo Bills in week 14 and their defense has started to struggle against the pass. Buffalo’s defense have allowed 43.2 fantasy points per game to receivers in the past month. New York might have to keep up with Buffalo’s high-scoring attack to be able to come out with a victory, so the Jets will be having to air it out.
Wilson continues to be a must-start option with his consistency that he has displayed with the Jets offense. He continues to see a higher number of targets and the target share is there for him to receive the must-start honors. Plug in Wilson with confidence into your lineups this weekend against Buffalo.
Tight End Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Chargers

Gerald Everett has made multiple appearance on the starts of the week list and he adds to his resume this week. It is hard to find tight ends in fantasy football in the middle rounds of the draft that can put up consistent numbers, but Everett has been that exception this season. Everett is coming off a solid game against the Raiders where he hauled in five receptions for 80 yards.
The Chargers will be looking to bounce back after losing to the Raiders in week 13 as they will face off against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins defense has been one for tight ends to take advantage of as Miami has surrendered the third-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season (14.7).
Everett will be able to continue a consistent stretch that he has been on in fantasy terms. Continue to start Everett with confidence as he has been able to become a primary target for Justin Herbert in this Chargers offense.
