It is about that time in the week where you need to lock in who is going to be in your fantasy football lineups going into this weekend’s slate of games in the NFL. It is officially the first round of the fantasy football playoffs and it is important to put in the players that will get you the maximum number of points to help you advance on to the next round. Here are the players you should start heading into week 15:

Quarterback Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert hasn’t lived up to the high expectations this season in fantasy football. Last week in the Chargers 23-17 win over the Miami Dolphins, Herbert threw for 367 passing yards and a touchdown. His 367 passing yards outing was the most yards that he accumulated in a game this season and he will look to convert those yards into more touchdowns this weekend against the Tennessee Titans.

Getting a healthy offense back only helps Herbert reach his ceiling every week and this week he faces off against a favorable defensive matchup. The Titans have allowed the most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position in the last month (26.8). Tennessee has been vulnerable in the secondary and have allowed production in the passing game, especially down the field.

Herbert was inconsistent at the start of the season, but he is starting to find his groove as this offense is returning to full strength. Start the 24-year old quarterback with confidence this week as they take on the Titans at home.

Running Back Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints offense hasn’t been able to get their running game going as of late and that is widely affecting Alvin Kamara’s fantasy output. New Orleans is coming off of the bye week and will be well-rested as they take on the Atlanta Falcons heading into week 15. We haven’t see Kamara have a great fantasy outing since the Saints took on the Raiders in week eight.

Kamara will be going up against a familiar foe in the Falcons. He got off to a slow start against the Falcons defense in week one as he only racked up nine carries for 39 yards. Through the air, Kamara only had three reception for seven yards. There is reason for hope as he is facing an Atlanta defense that allows the eight-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs (25.6).

It has been hard for fantasy managers to keep Kamara in their lineups, but with a strong matchup this weekend you have to ride with him. It hasn’t been a pretty stretch for Kamara and this Saints offense, but if they want to come out with a win Kamara has to get going.

Wide Receiver Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers

Mike Williams returned in week 14 in the Chargers 27-13 win over the Dolphins after missing several weeks of the season as he is battling through an ankle injury. In that return, Williams finished the game with six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. His performance was good enough for him to finish with 24 fantasy points and remain a top threat in this Chargers offense.

Like Herbert, Williams will receive a favorable matchup in week 15 going up against a Titans secondary that has been exploited at times this season. Tennessee’s defense is allowing the most fantasy points per game to receivers (41.9). Williams will have the opportunity to explode this weekend as he will have the ability to provide a mismatch against this Titans defense.

The star wide receiver had question marks of how he would look after the ankle injury, but he looked like his true self in his return with this Chargers offense. Start Williams with confidence as he is a must-start wide receiver this weekend.

Tight End Dalton Schultz, Dallas Cowboys

Dalton Schultz returns to the starts of the week list as he is starting to produce monster numbers at the tight end position. Schultz wasn’t able to find the endzone against the Houston Texans in week 14, but he was able to finish the game with six receptions for 87 yards. Schultz continues to be a top target for Dak Prescott and that will continue in week 15 as Dallas will travel to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The star tight end is going to provide a ceiling every week for fantasy managers, solely based on his production with this Cowboys offense. He is facing a Jaguars defense that is allowing 13.1 fantasy point per game to opposing tight ends. Jacksonville has also been prone to giving up a lot of production through the air.

There should be no doubts of whether you should plug Schultz into your lineups or not. He has been able to provide consistent production as of late and he has the chance to take off against a vulnerable Jaguars defense.
