“Want Him to F*ck Up”: NFL Fans Rip Reporter for Bizarre Kevin Stefanski Question to Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur Sanders’ NFL journey has been full of ups and downs, with him sliding to the 5th round and getting picked as the 144th overall pick, to him having to wait 11 weeks to play his first snap with the Browns.

The ex-Colorado quarterback was first named the third QB for the Browns when Joe Flacco was QB1 and Dillon Gabriel was his backup, then, after the veteran QB left for the Bengals, Shedeur was promoted to being the backup QB.

However, various fans and analysts expressed their frustration when Kevin Stefanski told the reporters that Shedeur is not getting any first-team reps as the franchise’s focus on on Gabriel entirely.

Now that Shedeur is gearing up for the second start of his NFL career, during Wednesday’s press conference, he was asked a bizarre question about his supporters thinking Stefanski was trying to sabotage him, to which he patiently responded and accused the reporter of wanting to start trouble, which drew some reactions from the fans:

Everybody really trying to get him to slip up it’s actually comical how bad they want him to f*ck up.” one fan commented.

“Nothing wrong with his answer. For all the people who wanted him to say No. What if his answer was really yes. Y’all rather him lie to protect the integrity of a bum franchise that hasn’t done right by him. Naw his answer was perfect. He could’ve AJ Brown that question.” Another fan appreciated Shedeur.

“What a humble class act and locker room leader! Doesn’t take the bait from the woke beta reporter.” another fan added.

“If he acted like this more often, nobody would have an issue with him. Hope he’s learning cause I’m pulling for Cleveland. You guys have been suffering long enough.” another fan said.

“i actually like this response. theres not enough players and coaches calling out beat reporters like this. it happens occasionally, but its good for reducing the questions designed to pluck out a soundbite. those questions arent good for anyone except the writer.” another fan shared their thoughts.

“I don’t understand the reporters angle here lol That is an awful question.” another fan bluntly added.

Deion Sanders Opens Up About Watching Shedeur Sanders Play in the NFL

While Deion Sanders earlier said he wasn’t sure he was going to watch Shedeur Sanders make his first NFL start, as he didn’t want to be a distraction for him, he decided to go ahead and experience the moment of seeing his son accomplish the major milestone.

Deion opened up about seeing Shedeur play for the first time without him being on the sideline during his press conference on Tuesday and said that it was a strange feeling, but it was also good and healthy.

He further added that he was in straight-up “dad mode” and not in the coach mode, and that he loved watching Shedeur secure his first win.

The Colorado coach also expressed gratitude for the Raiders owners for letting him watch the game from their box, calling the moment “unbelievable.”
