Shedeur Sanders finally made his NFL starting debut against the Las Vegas Raiders in week 12 and is now set to make the most of another start against the San Francisco 49ers.
The ex-Colorado quarterback had to wait for 11 weeks before his starting dream came true, and he caught the chance with both hands as he led the Browns to their 3rd win of the season with just one week of practice.

After the game, President Donald Trump also took a moment to applaud Deion Sanders’ son and gave credit to his genes over the impressive performance against the Raiders and even said, “I told you so,” in terms of expressing his confidence in the Browns’ rookie.
This isn’t the first time Trump came out in support of Shedeur; he also took to Twitter to express his frustration when the NFL teams didn’t pick him till the 5th round.
Talking about the president’s support during a press conference on Thursday, Shedeur highlighted Trump’s constant support and said that he is thankful he takes the time from his day to support the ex-Colorado star.
While some fans criticized Shedeur for thanking Trump, others thought he gave a good answer:
“He didn’t say he was a Trump supporter, he said he appreciated the presidents support. That’s a great safe answer.” one fan appreciated Shedeur’s response.
“It’s cool” – that’s all he needed to say if he didn’t f*ck with Trump. “He’s been a supporter for a minute” – was definitely a slap in the face to us. You really your daddy son.” another fan added.
“If you turn your back on a black man for saying thank you then you didnt really like him to begin with. He didnt say anything further. Just thank you. He is already trying to navigate his career without making more enemies. Please Calm tf down. Jeez. Sensitive ass people.” another fan wrote.
“Yall really acting like some hoes in these comments. He just kept it cool and PR, and kept it moving. So what did yall expect, “F*ck Trump, next question” ? I’m assuming Shedeur not even thinking about ole boy like that, he has a career he trying to show and prove.” another fan questioned.
“Yall tripping over him thanking somebody that supports him ?!?!…I mean when you get support from people especially from people with power you have to at least acknowledge them for supporting you…ain’t like he say he gon vote for him or got 1 of those hats on.” another fan said.
“He tried giving a political correct answer. Yall need to relax. Regardless of who is in office, that’s still the president.” another fan added.

Doug Gottlieb Calls Out Kendrick Perkins Over Bold Shedeur Sanders Statement
ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins was recently under the spotlight for his bizarre statement on Shedeur Sanders after his starting debut against the Raiders.
Perkins said that he believes Shedeur is the most powerful black man since 2009, the year when President Obama got elected into office, further labelling the Browns’ rookie the most powerful black man in sports, and even the most powerful player in all of sports.
This statement received flak from many fans and analysts, including Doug Gottlieb, who dismissed the claims made by Perkins and highlighted that the black community has made the whole Browns quarterback conversation into a racial thing, which is comical, as Dillon Gabriel isn’t white either.
Gottlieb further said it sounds like Perkins is hanging out with Ryan Clark too much, as an explanation for why he is making this fiasco about race.
