Rasee Rice came back with a bang after the six-week suspension. Ahead of the head-to-head kickoff against the Las Vegas Raiders, the wide receiver is all pumped up for his stellar performance. However, many fans can’t forget his Dallas accident case that led to his abrupt suspension.

In a conference clip where Rice explains his workout schedule during his 6-week suspension period, he stated:

“I went down to Florida, where it’s hot, to try and keep myself in the heat—similar to St. Joe.”

As the clip surfaced online, a fan mocked him: “Hopefully he didn’t drive.”

Rashee Rice, no doubt, is a celebrated wide receiver with the incredible record of 79 receptions for 938 yards. But this time he is rather talking about this very sad incident. Rice was seemingly doing a car race with another driver on the Dallas Highway in March 2024. But as crowds were busy, it led to multi-vehicle collisions. Although nobody died, people were injured.

Later, a 25-year-old wide receiver was accused and sentenced to 30 days in jail. The NFL said Rice “will serve out the penalty without appeal” and is suspended without pay. He is also barred from taking part in training with the Chiefs.

Rice attended the practice sessions for the first time on Wednesday since the six-week suspension. Andy Reid said he is in good shape.

“He’s excited to be back in and going. I think getting through practices (this week) will be good for him to get into the swing of things. He’s been working hard. He’s in good shape.”

While Chiefs are all relieved to get their star player back, fans still have different thoughts:

A fan stated, “Another criminal joins the Chiefs, joining woman abuser Kareem Hunt. Such a proud moment.”

Another chimed: “He went down there to street race.”

“Did this dude ever serve his time? I somehow doubt it.” a fan said

A fan named Benny MC Boat Face said, “Dude should be in fucking prison, maaaaaan.”

Others said: “Ppl will click on a post just to type out something retarded and call it ragebait.”

Although the wide receiver is learning from his mistakes, fans can’t forget this sensitive issue. But the star player will surely win hearts with his stellar performance in the Week 7 clash against Las Vegas Raiders.
