Miami Dolphins fans were left shell-shocked after Sunday’s 31–6 blowout loss to the Cleveland Browns. Tua Tagovailoa’s struggles were on full display, completing just 12 of 23 passes for 100 yards and three interceptions, resulting in a career-worst 24.1 passer rating. Amid the chaos, the Dolphins’ coach hinted at a probable quarterback change. Many fans couldn’t agree more.

In a viral video, Tua was detailing his struggles after the week 7 showdown; a fan amplified his frustration with an unexpected request and said, “Turn in your papers, man.

Tua Tagovailoa Faces Backlash as Dolphins’ Offense Collapses and QB Job Appears in Jeopardy

The Dolphins’ offense has fallen in week 7. With Bill’s absence and facing a porous offensive sync, Tua left with just 4.3 yards in an attempt, throwing 11 touchdowns against 10 interceptions for an 82.8 rating.

Against the Browns, Miami’s turnovers were devastating, leading to 21 points off four miscues. Also, Quinn Ewers replaced Tua late in the game, showing an urgent need to explore more options.

Admitting his frustration with his own play, Tua said, “Not proud of where I am with my play. With how I’ve gone about things this year. I have to be better.”

Moreover, the head coach also seemed upset about Miami’s performance and could look for a change, saying he doesn’t have a choice:

“If you are negatively affecting the football team routinely, I don’t have a choice but to assess a different player.”

Tua signed a four-year, $212 million contract extension back in 2024, making him the sixth-highest-paid quarterback in the league. But as a result of Week 7 frustration, his position might be at stake. And fans couldn’t agree more.

A fan said, “I never liked Tua, and Ima a huge Bama fan.”

Others said, “Send him to the Saints.”

Another chimed, “Tua’s favorite color is CTE.”

    Others commented, “Damn, Tua 💔.”

While many stated, “He is going to maneuver to the bench.”

Many want to replace Tua, but the ultimate decision lies in Mike McDaniel’s hands. But one thing can’t be denied: the QB has left an indelible mark on NFL history.
