Former NFL player Shannon Sharpe will be looking for a new job after ESPN made its decision on his employment.
Sharpe is believed to have settled a lawsuit with accuser Gabriella Zuniga worth approximately $23 million. Zuniga claimed Sharpe sexually assaulted her multiple times.

Per Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, ESPN fired Sharpe following news of the settlement.
“ESPN has cut ties with NFL Hall of Famer and media analyst Shannon Sharpe less than two weeks after he settled a lawsuit in which his ex-girlfriend accused him of rape, sources briefed on the decision told The Athletic on Wednesday,” Marchand wrote.
The three-time Super Bowl champion joined the sports network in 2023. Sharpe left the network in April amid news of the lawsuit.
