Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and owner of social media platform, X, was recently called out by none other than Washington Commanders quarterback, Jayden Daniels’ mother and manager, Regina. Regina was recently captured meeting Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin with a hug, along with the team owner Josh Harris, who also made a stop by the training camp.

When X’s AI tool, Grok, was asked about the identity of the lady whom Harris hugged, it responded that it was his wife, Marjorie Harris. The reasoning for the response was also laughable at the immense racial bias the AI tool so blatantly showed in the answer.
“No, that’s not Jayden Daniels’ mom, Regina Jackson, who is African American and in her 40s. The video shows Terry McLaurin hugging white woman, likely Marjorie Harris (Commanders owner Josh Harris’ wife), followed by Josh. The original post appears mislabeled.” Grok responded to the fan who asked about the identity of the woman whom Harris hugged.

“This is what we have come to. At this point this is becoming laughable. We really believe any and everything. Oh and make up stuff. But carry on.” Regina Jackson tweeted from her X account.

Elon Musk’s Grok tool has been known in the past to put out wrong answers pretty frequently. The billionaire has continually stated that the tool is being worked on to improve its responses, but Grok has constantly turned out to be an embarrassment for Musk.
Elon Musk To Replace Researchers With Engineers At xAI
On another note, Elon Musk recently announced that he would no longer have ‘researchers’ at his startup xAI and only ‘engineers’. Musk called the ‘researcher’ title pretty archaic and inspired from the world of academia.
“This false nomenclature of ‘researcher and ‘engineer, which is a thinly-masked way of describing a two-tier engineering system, is being deleted from @xAI today.” Elon Musk tweeted from his X account.

However, Elon Musk’s move to only have engineers and no researchers in his AI startup has got negative reactions from other AI pundits. One of them includes Yann LeCun, the chief AI scientist of Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta. According to LeCun, this move by Musk will affect ‘innovation’ in the long run. LeCun added that researchers and engineers both had two very different roles in their workplaces, both of which are essential to the development of Artificial Intelligence.
