Eli Apple Ignites Beef With Stefon Diggs After Bills Playoff Loss

The Buffalo Bills saw their season end at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals in Buffalo. It was a frustrating day for the Bills and their fans, and wide receiver Stefon Diggs was seen throwing a tantrum on the sideline, expressing his thoughts toward Josh Allen.

After the game, Diggs reportedly left the locker room right away, and then he took to Twitter to share a number of thoughts.

Bengals cornerback Eli Apple, who never backs down on social media, quickly jumped in and proceeded to attempt to ignite beef with Diggs.

    Apple didn’t stop there, either.

This might not be too pleasing to Diggs and Allen, who now have to watch the Bengals face the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game for the second straight season.

In Sunday’s game, Diggs was held to just four catches for 35 yards on 10 targets, and the Buffalo offense failed to score a receiving touchdown in the 27-10 loss.

Apple went viral after the Bengals defeated the Chiefs last year and he got into it with Tyreek Hill. Then Apple and Hill exchanged pleasantries prior to the Dolphins-Bengals game this year.

Eli Apple isn’t backing down from anybody, and now he and the Bengals will prepare for another AFC title game in hopes of making a second straight trip to the Super Bowl.

Let’s see if Stefon Diggs ends up responding. Or, perhaps he waits till next year and lets his play do the talking. Only time will tell, but if the Bengals win, Eli Apple might not stop.
