Jason Kelce announces his decision for 2023
The Philadelphia Eagles are having a lot of turnover before the 2023 season. The 2022 roster was full of studs that made it to the Super Bowl but ultimately couldn’t finish. Now the team has to decide which players can fit their cap situation this offseason. The Eagles were waiting on offensive lineman Jason Kelce to determine whether he’d play or retire this offseason. He announced his decision Monday.
According to a statement on Twitter by Jason Kelce, the six-time Pro Bowl center has decided to play in Philadelphia next season:
“I have put much thought into whether it makes sense to play another season. After talking it over with my wife and many other friends and family, I have decided to return for another year. Thank you to all my supporters and detractors for fueling me, I ain’t fucking done yet!”

Kelce’s return will be a boost to the Eagles’ offensive line. According to Mike Garafolo with the NFL Network, the Eagles will now likely move Cam Jurgens to the guard spot in 2023.
Jason Kelce's return surely means the #Eagles will look to slide Cam Jurgens over to guard. The early returns in Philly on the second-round pick have been solid and he's the successor to Kelce. But for now, a short slide is in order.
