Jalen Hurts’ Honest Reaction To Eagles Who Went To White House

Jalen Hurts turned heads when he was not among the Philadelphia Eagles who recently visited the White House to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl victory last February against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

As the Super Bowl 59’s Most Valuable Player, there’s no chance that Hurts’ absence wouldn’t get noticed. On Monday, Hurts once again explained the reason why he did not accompany his team on the Eagles’ visit to the White House.

    Via Natasha Dye of People.com:

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, May 20, Hurts doubled down on the reason for his absence. “I wasn’t available,” the Super Bowl MVP said. “I don’t think that’s pertinent. Everyone who went, and was available, they seemed to enjoy themselves.”

Hurts wasn’t the only Eagles player who didn’t attend the White House event. Other Philly players who opted not to join the trip were A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Brandon Graham, Nolan Smith, Zack Baun, Nakobe Dean, CJ Gardner Johnson, Darius Slay and Quinyon Mitchell.

Will Jalen Hurts visit the White House if the Philadelphia wins it all again?

As the reigning Super Bowl champions, many expect the Eagles to be one of the chief contenders for the NFL championship again in 2025.

It’s difficult to tell whether Philadelphia can win the Super Bowl again, but it will surely be a challenging road to the top for the Eagles, with every other team putting targets on their back.

But if the Eagles win the Vince Lombardi Trophy again, will that result in Hurts flying with the team to the White House? In any case, it’s likely not on the quarterback’s mind right now.
