Love them or hate them, Philadelphia Eagles fans have built a reputation unlike any other in the NFL — passionate, relentless, and often unapologetically loud. For decades, they’ve been both celebrated and criticized as some of the league’s most devoted yet divisive supporters.

From booing opposing players — and occasionally their own — to turning Lincoln Financial Field into one of football’s most intimidating environments, Eagles fans embody the city’s gritty, no-nonsense attitude. However, their reaction to Giants’ running back Cam Skattebo snapping his leg in half, was one of support.

In reaction to Skattebo’s injury, Philadelphia fans showed an immense amount of support:

New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo suffered a serious lower-leg injury during Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, forcing him to be carted off the field in the second quarter. The injury occurred as Skattebo attempted to secure a short pass near midfield, with his right leg appearing to buckle underneath him on the tackle.

Medical staff immediately signaled for assistance, and the stadium grew silent as the rookie was helped onto the cart. Prior to the injury, Skattebo had made an impact early — recording three carries for 12 yards and catching an 18-yard touchdown pass. Through his first seven games, he had emerged as a breakout performer for New York, leading the team with nearly 400 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

Early reports indicate that Skattebo is expected to miss significant time, pending further evaluation and imaging. His loss is a major blow for a Giants offense that has relied heavily on his physical running style and energy to spark momentum throughout the season.
