The Los Angeles Angels were in Arlington, Texas, to play the Texas Rangers at Global Life Stadium, right across the street from where the Dallas Cowboys play at AT&T Stadium. Before the Angels took on the Rangers, Mike Trout was interviewed by Chris Henderson, known as SeeHendo, on social media and YouTube.
During the interview, Trout was asked what it was like to meet Micah Parsons and if there was any recruiting. The last time the Angels faced the Rangers. Trout is a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.
“Naw, you know I didn’t recruit. Hey, I’m a fan of the game, and he’s one of the best for sure. He’s obviously a tough matchup every time he’s on the field,” said Trout.
“He’s one of the best, if not the best defensive line guys in the league, linebacker, or whatever he mixes it up, but he’s fun to watch. I got to give him credit; obviously, he’s a Cowboy don’t like giving Cowboys credit, but he was cool to meet and obviously fun to see him.”
Parsons will miss practice for the second straight day
The Cowboys practice without linebacker Micah Parsons on Thursday, and they’ll do it again on Friday, according to pro football talk.
Per Pro Football Talk, This was Head Coach Mike McCarthy’s note when he spoke to reporters before the practice session on Friday morning. Parsons is facing an illness that McCarthy described as a cold on Thursday.
However, McCarthy said Parsons feels better than he did Thursday, but the team is still keeping him off the field. On Thursday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Parsons had tested negative for COVID-19 and the flu.
The Cowboys will submit their final injury report for Monday evening on Saturday, and that will tell us if there’s any chance Parsons will miss the game against the Giants.
