The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles had an old fashioned NFC East Showdown on Thursday Night. 20 fourth quarter points fueled Philadelphia to a 26-18 victory. 28 points were scored in the fourth quarter alone by both teams.
However, one video recently leaked has fans erupting all over social media.

On ‘TNF,’ the Eagles won their sixth straight game, their eighth of the season, with Saquon Barkley having another strong game.
An Eagles loss would have resulted in a social media riot after a questionable call in the third quarter:
A flag was thrown, as expected, after Eagles WR DeVonta Smith got his mask snatched by Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu. While the mask wasn’t grabbed from the front, Luvu got an opening near the rear, which still counts as a facemask penalty, or at least it was supposed to.
Shockingly enough, the officials picked up the flag, denying Philly the penalty.

“The Refs are making no sense tonight,” a fan wrote in the comments.
“When someone’s helmet does a 180 how can you miss that?” another asked.
“Nfl refs are super consistent and good. I cant imagine a sport with better officials,” said a third.
“Refs are doing the best nonsense possible !!” someone spat.
