The Philadelphia Eagles are in the midst of one of their greatest off-seasons in franchise history. After taking down the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, the team won their second championship.
However, there is one former wide receiver who is facing some major backlash off-the-field.
“Youth Boys Basketball” Former Eagles Star Facing Horrible Accusations

There has been an accusation against former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Braxton Miller for “inappropriate” behavior at a youth sporting event:
Braxton Miller, who starred at Ohio State from 2011-15, is accused of acting inappropriately at an AAU game over the weekend. A longtime youth sports referee took to Facebook to criticize the Buckeyes legend for his behavior.
The Ohio State football legend’s AAU basketball team, Charging, lost by one point during a game in Columbus, Ohio. The referee is accusing Miller of throwing a basketball at him following the game.
“On Sunday, May 18th, after officiating a 6th grade boys basketball AAU game in Columbus, Ohio, an unfortunate incident occurred. Ohio State’s former star quarterback Braxton Miller, whose team (Charging) had just lost by one point, reacted inappropriately. As I walked away from the court toward the bench, he threw a basketball at my back in a vulgar and aggressive manner. This happened in front of 6th grade players, children who look to adults for examples of sportsmanship and respect,” the referee said on Facebook.

The referee, Idrees Ramsey, says that he’s been officiating games – both high school and college – for 12 years. He said he had never experienced something like he did with Braxton Miller.
“In my 12 combined years officiating high school and college basketball, I have never experienced a situation where I was physically struck by a person or object until that day,” he wrote on Facebook.
“Sports, while competitive, are still just games. Let’s not lose sight of the responsibility we have to lead our young people.”
Miller is far from the only person to act inappropriately at youth sports games. There seems to be a growing problem with adults taking youth sports way, way too seriously.
“As a leader of young athletes, his behavior was deeply disappointing. Actions like this contribute to the growing culture of disrespect toward officials and are part of the reason why there’s a nationwide shortage in officiating,” the referee stated.
