So far this offseason, Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been in the news for good reasons. On Wednesday, there was not so good news that dropped about the rookie quarterback.

According to the Fox 8 I-Team, they learned that the Browns rookie quarterback was pulled over early Tuesday morning for allegedly driving over 100 MPH. According to Strongsville Police records, an officer stopped Sanders on 71 North at around 12:24 a.m. on June 17. A report stated that he was driving 101 mph, which was 41 mph over the speed limit.
Cleveland Browns Radio Host Makes Remarks On Shedeur Sanders Speeding

With Sanders speeding, there is no doubt that there were many reactions on different Cleveland radio shows on Wednesday evening. Tony Grossi spoke on ESPN Cleveland on Wednesday to discuss Sanders’s traffic violation. Grossi said,
“Let this be a learning experience, listen, it’s not the end of the world.”
This is a good point, and it will be interesting to see how the Browns are going to handle this moving forward. Sanders is already fourth on the Browns quarterback depth chart. Cleveland shouldn’t use it against him. The fanbase isn’t thrilled about this, but they would rather a speeding violation rather than what quarterback Deshaun Watson has done in the past.

You give a kid a Rolls-Royce and you expect him to act like any other 5th round pick. Gabriel just keeps on keeping on w/not a breath of negative behavior. Sorta like Bernie. But.lets back the Shedeur hype train because he gets more attention. Deep down Kosar knows that also.

There are no doubt mixed reactions from the fanbase about Sanders. It will be interesting to see if his character will betray him. Cleveland also has had quarterbacks like Baker Mayfield and Johnny Manziel before. Luckily, Sanders is only a fifth-round selection, and they could release before the 2025 NFL season if things continue to get worst with him.
