Drake Maye Records A Rough Start With The Patriots’ OTAs
While Hudson is having a good time at her bachelorette party, Drake Maye seems to be roughing it out with the Patriots. With the OTAs getting underway, several NFL players are preparing for the upcoming season.
Maye is looking forward to his second season and he hopes to have a successful one. Maye recorded four interceptions during his OTA session with the team. Two of them were to Christian Gonzalez and another target was to Kyle Williams. One was due to a miscommunication between Pop Douglas.

Mike Kadlick from Sports Illustrated took to social media to post about Drake Maye’s performance.
“Two interceptions for Christian Gonzalez today during 11-on-11. One on a miscommunication between Drake Maye and Pop Douglas. Another on a Maye deep target to Kyle Williams,” Kadlick wrote on X.

It’s just the beginning and there’s plenty of time for improvement. Maye is getting the hang of performing in the big leagues. Moreover, the Patriots have an easy schedule in the NFL season. They will face the Las Vegas Raiders and the Miami Dolphins. Both teams have not made the playoffs in 2024. Hence, the pressure should be a little less at the beginning.
Drake Maye has to pick up the pace to secure a permanent spot on the team’s roster. It’s going to be a challenging season, but an essential one that could carve him into one of the best players in the league.
