“Don’t Tell Me They’re Throwing A Barbeque There”: NFL Fans Go Wild After Shocking Footage Shows Broncos Locker Room ‘SMOKY’ Following Win vs Eagles

The Denver Broncos pulled off the upset of the week 5. They stunned the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles 21-17 on Sunday. But something else stole the show after the final whistle.

CBS cameras captured the postgame locker room celebration. Head coach Sean Payton stood ready to address his team. Then viewers noticed something absolutely bizarre because thick smoke was filling every corner of the room.

For a brief moment, it looked like the place was on fire, or they were throwing a barbecue party.

The viral footage led to endless chatter on social media. Folks couldn’t believe what they saw because the smoke was so dense that they could barely see the coach giving a winning speech through the haze.

Payton delivered his speech while surrounded by fog, making the entire scene look surreal. The players gathered close, cheering after their big win on the road. At the same time, smoke filled the Broncos’ locker room at Lincoln Financial Field.

Not surprisingly, social media exploded with wild theories.

One fan wrote, “Don’t tell me they’re throwing a barbeque there after defeating the Eagles.”

Another claimed they were “Smoking that eagles pack.”

The jokes kept rolling in. A third fan noted, “Somebody check if Sean Payton lit a victory cigar 😎”

The third one asked, “Is there a fire at the Linc?”

But one X user cleared up the confusion. “It’s a fog machine. Something they do after EVERY WIN,” they explained.

Still, some Eagles supporters weren’t impressed. A fifth fan claimed, “They won their super bowl already. That’s nice.”

Meanwhile, Eagles fans are demanding an investigation into the loss to Broncos.

The smoke machine celebration might seem over the top, but this win was a big deal for Denver. They beat the Super Bowl champs and gave them their first season loss.

Broncos Erase 14-Point Deficit to Hand Eagles First Loss

Denver trailed 17-3 entering the fourth quarter. The game looked over. Philly had dominated for three quarters at home.

Then Bo Nix and the offense flipped the script. The second-year quarterback led a furious rally, helping Denver score 18 unanswered points in the final frame.

Nix hit Evan Engram for a touchdown with 7:36 remaining. But Payton didn’t settle for the tie. He went for two. The gutsy call paid off when Nix found Troy Franklin on the conversion for an 18-17 lead.

The front seven sealed it from there. The Eagles hadn’t lost at home in 13 months. That streak ended Sunday and the smokescreen celebration in the locker room said it all.

This marked a statement win for the Broncos. They beat the Super Bowl champs on the road. Denver erased a 17-3 deficit against one of the NFL’s best teams, which would give them huge momentum heading to Week 6.

The locker room atmosphere reflected pure joy, relief, and validation. The smoke machine captured all of it, whether fans understood it or not.
