While President Donald Trump has “bigger fish to fry,” analyst and potential POTUS candidate Stephen A. Smith believes that there is a foundation to the investigation that Trump is calling for, in relation to Kamala Harris allegedly paying people to endorse her.
In one of the recent episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the ESPN analyst got honest about what he thinks about the issue of Donald Trump wanting an investigation into famous celebrities who allegedly got paid by Kamala Harris for an endorsement. While he believes the president has bigger matters that are more worthy of attention, he also believes that the issue has some gourds to it.
“As it pertains to Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party paying folks to endorse them, this is not the first time those stories have been broached,” Smith said. “Remember Oprah’s production company and what it purportedly received. Remember, even though there’s no evidence that Beyonce was paid a dime, remember what they were saying about her in terms of the connection and how the camp the the Harris campaign was able to convince her to endorse her publicly.”
“We’ve seen a bevy of folks in Hollywood speaking out for Kla Harris, but we also knew that they had spent about $1.5 billion. And we’re asking ourselves where that money went and who got some of it and for what purpose. Those are legitimate questions, whether we like it or not. Whether we like it or not.

Donald Trump Demands Investigation into Celebrity Support for Kamala Harris
President Donald Trump has called for a major investigation into musicians who publicly supported Kamala Harris during her presidential campaign. In a heated post on Truth Social, Trump accused Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Bono of receiving payments for their endorsements, suggesting that such financial transactions amounted to illegal campaign contributions.

Trump’s frustration with celebrity opposition has been ongoing, but his latest comments have escalated tensions. Springsteen, a longtime critic of Trump, recently spoke out against his administration during a concert in Manchester, England, calling it “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous.”
In response, Trump lashed out at the rock star, labeling him a “dried-out prune of a rocker” and dismissing his music and political views. The American Federation of Musicians (AFM) quickly defended Springsteen and other artists, emphasizing their right to freedom of expression.

Despite Donald Trump’s accusations, most critics argue that there may be no legal precedent for investigating celebrity endorsements in political campaigns.
