President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who are having a feud over a controversial tax cut and spending bill, got an honest take from analyst Stephen A. Smith.
In one of his recent videos, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith gave his opinion on the issue of a controversial tax-cut and spending bill that turned even the relationship between President Donald Trump and tech mogul and billionaire Elon Musk a bit sour.
“These politicians on Capitol Hill, I’m sick and tired of them coming to us every two years, every four years asking for more taxpayer dollars,” Smith said. “What are you doing to manage budgets? What are you doing to curb spending? We can’t have everything. We can’t. We can’t.”
“And I’m not talking to Republicans and I’m not talking to Democrats. I’m talking to all of their asses. You got a bunch. You got a deficit over 37 trillion that’s scheduled to explode and exceed over $40 trillion. Both sides of the aisle played a pivotal role in that happening. It wasn’t just Democrats in office in the House, the Senate, and the White House all of these years. We’ve had members of both sides of the aisle in all of those houses all of these years.”
“All you did this, all of you. You all did this. So, I don’t want to hear it. But I am concerned about the particulars. I am concerned about the specifics. And I think that that needs to be broached.”

Donald Trump, Elon Musk Intensify Feud Over Tax Bill
President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk have publicly clashed over a controversial tax-cut and spending bill, marking a dramatic shift in their once-close relationship. Musk, who previously worked within Trump’s administration, criticized the bill as a “disgusting abomination” and accused lawmakers of passing it too quickly for proper review.

Trump responded by expressing “disappointment” in Musk, stating that he had helped the Tesla CEO significantly in the past. The disagreement escalated when Musk denied having prior knowledge of the bill, contradicting Trump’s claim that he was deeply involved in its development.
The feud intensified as Trump threatened to terminate government contracts with Musk’s companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, arguing that cutting subsidies would save billions in the federal budget. Musk retaliated by announcing that SpaceX would begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft, a move that could disrupt U.S. space operations.

As the dispute continues, the fallout has already impacted Tesla’s stock, which saw a sharp decline following Musk’s criticism of the bill. Donald Trump remains firm in his support for the legislation, calling it “one of the greatest bills ever presented to Congress.”
