President Donald Trump recently got blasted by analyst Stephen A. Smith in light of his recent statement about Russian President Vladimir Putin, and his criticism of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
In one of the recent episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the ESPN analyst gave his criticism of Donald Trump in light of the President’s statement about his views on Putin.
“First of all, let’s call this what it is. That’s an utterly ridiculous statement by our president of the United States. You’re concerned about antagonizing Vladimir Putin and him becoming a bit more volatile. What are you talking about? What else does he have to do?”
“I’m not a historian, but can we be honest and forthcoming about what has been transpiring over the last couple of decades or so? You got to remember since the dissolution of the old Soviet Union in 1991 after Reagan told Gorbachev, ‘Tear down that wall and all of this other stuff.’”
“Remember, the Soviet Union has never been what it once was. And that paint very, very few people on the planet more so than Vladimir Putin. It’s been his mission for the rest of his life since that period of time to reclaim territory and land that he believes belongs to the Soviet Union.”

Donald Trump Warns Putin Against Risky Moves Amid Ukraine Conflict
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a sharp warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin, asserting that Russia would have faced severe consequences if not for his actions. In a Truth Social post, Trump declared that Putin is “playing with fire” and suggested that catastrophic outcomes could have already occurred for Russia without his influence.
“What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it weren’t for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He’s playing with fire!” Trump declared in his post.

Dmitry Medvedev, Russia’s former president and current Security Council deputy chairman, responded, emphasizing that the only “really bad thing” he envisions is the possibility of World War III.
Trump, who has been unsuccessfully advocating for an end to the Russia-Ukraine war, described Putin’s approach as reckless, stating that the Russian leader has “gone absolutely crazy.”

He criticized the widespread missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities, arguing that Putin’s aggressive stance suggests a desire for full control of Ukraine. The conflict has escalated, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy highlighting the intensifying Russian attacks and calling for stronger international support.
Despite his efforts, Donald Trump has not yet succeeded in brokering a peace deal, as tensions between Russia and Ukraine continue to rise.
