US President Donald Trump’s recent rally in Pittsburgh sparked outrage among Steelers fans after some players were spotted cheering on the country’s leader. Among the several players who attended the rally were quarterback Mason Rudolph and Mike Killebrew. Rudolph and the other players also gave the sitting POTUS and No. 47 Pittsburgh Steelers jersey.
The presence of Rudolph and the others at the US President’s rally sparked plenty of outrage among fans of the franchise. The team sent out emails to season-ticket holders explaining that the views of the players are their own individual preferences and that they do not necessarily represent the sentiments of the team.
“We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. As valued fans, your voice is an essential part of what makes our Steelers community and fan base so strong. We understand that a recent rally in Pittsburgh has generated a range of reactions from our fan base. Our alumni and current players make their own individual decisions that reflect their views, and they do not necessarily represent the view of the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your passion and your continued support of the team.” the Pittsburgh Steelers said in the email sent out to season ticket holders.
President Donald Trump seemed delighted to have the Pittsburgh Steelers at his rally and even brought them out to the stage. Fans also noted that the POTUS called Mason Rudolph “tall and handsome”, which delighted the audience in the rally.

Donald Trump’s Favorite NFL Team To Meet Raiders In Week 1
President Donald Trump has always been a sports fan and has been supporting the NFL strongly in his career. In previous interviews, the US President has admitted that he is a big fan of the New England Patriots.

The POTUS also was the first sitting US President to attend a Super Bowl and did so in February to watch the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs. President Trump supported and cheered on the Eagles whom he predicted to win. And rightly so, the Philadelphia Eagles won against the Chiefs with an impressive 40-22.

President Donald Trump’s favorite NFL team, the New England Patriots will be opening their upcoming football season with a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1. After meeting the Raiders, the Patriots will be on their way to meet the Miami Dolphins next week.
