Donald Trump is back in office for the second time in his life. After winning the 2024 Presidential Election, Trump officially took office on January 20th, 2025. He has made sure to stay in the public eye, appearing at the Super Bowl and the NCAA Wrestling Championships.
However, one of his old quotes is resurfacing, and it is going absolutely viral.
“I’m Going To Get Them All Back” Donald Trump’s Past Quote Surfaces; Goes Absolutely Viral

Steve A. Smith of ESPN revealed an eerie conversation he had with Donald Trump before he became president:
You may recall that back in 2014, Trump attempted to purchase the NFL’s Buffalo Bills after the passing of owner and founder Ralph Wilson. Trump offered $1 billion in cash for the team, but Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula won the bidding war with a $1.4 billion price tag.
During an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Stephen A. Smith revealed a stunning conversation he had with Trump during the latter’s push to acquire the Bills before they went to Pegula.
“He said, talking about the NFL owners, ‘If them MFers get in my way, I’m going to get them all back. I’m going to run for President. And sure enough, that’s what happened. He didn’t get the team, and because he didn’t get the team, he turned around and he ran for president. And he won.”
Smith said the NFL regularly jokes with him about how it’s their fault that the star of “The Apprentice” became the President of the United States.

The Bills would have been Trump’s main priority if he purchased them, and he likelyy would not have run for President. Therefore, if Smith’s story is true, then the NFL certainly deserves some credit (or blame, depending on how you look at it).
The 2016 and 2024 elections were won by Trump, respectively, over Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris. In addition to Grover Cleveland, Trump is just the second president to serve two nonconsecutive terms.
