The presidency was the source of speculation and rumor in the lead-up to Super Bowl LIV between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
The main idea of the rumor was that the White House, “deep state,” Taylor Swift, and NFL teamed up to help the Chiefs make/win the Super Bowl so Swift could endorse Joe Biden for president during the trophy celebration.
Biden and the Department of Defense even responded to the rumors, although Biden made his a joke. The conspiracy was proved to be unfounded when Swift didn’t endorse Biden as the Chiefs celebrated a 25-22 victory over the 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Donald Trump is once again bringing the Oval Office to the Super Bowl.
Donald Trump is going to the Super Bowl
Per the New York Post, Trump is set to make an appearance (the first ever by a sitting president) at Sunday’s Super Bowl between Kansas City and the Philadelphia Eagles. He thinks the Chiefs are going to win.
Via the NY Post:
“President Trump plans to attend Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans, becoming the first sitting commander in chief to attend America’s biggest annual sporting event, The Post has learned — with the president hinting Tuesday that he thinks the Kansas City Chiefs might win.
The planned presence of Trump, 78, at the Caesars Superdome was first reported by Punchbowl News and confirmed by federal law enforcement sources.”

The Kansas City Chiefs have a Trump fan on the team
Kansas City has at least one fan on the team. Kicker Harrison Butker endorsed Trump before the election.
Trump’s presence should bring extra security to New Orleans. The city had to postpone the Sugar Bowl originally scheduled for New Year’s Day to Jan. 2 after a deadly truck attack in New Orleans.
