President Donald Trump got blasted by Stephen A. Smith, as the latter casted doubts and worries in light of the recent course of actions and statement of Trump towards Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In one of the recent episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the ESPN analyst got honest about how he looks at things between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
“Trump now with Putin makes no sense,” Smith said. “Why he hasn’t assisted other senators in imposing sanctions makes no sense. Just like the actions articulated in Jake Tapper’s book, acknowledging what those who hated Trump, obviously on the left, were willing to do to subvert and evade the principles of our Constitution.”
“They were willing to manipulate stuff at all costs just to ensure he didn’t return to office. And as a result, we’re sitting here with nobody to trust. What a damn shame. What a damn shame. Hopefully, it won’t lead to World War III.
“But I ain’t going to lie to you. I’ll be damned if I’m not worried about a few things. I don’t know if I’m worried about that, but I’m worried about a lot of things, and you should be, too.”
When Donald Trump first took office, his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin was marked by diplomatic overtures and a willingness to engage in direct negotiations. Trump often spoke favorably of Putin, emphasizing the potential for improved US-Russia relations.
As Trump entered his second term, the tone of his interactions with Putin began to shift. While he initially sought a diplomatic reset, tensions grew over Russia’s continued aggression in Ukraine and its deepening ties with China. Trump became increasingly frustrated with Putin’s reluctance to engage in meaningful peace negotiations, warning that the Russian leader was “playing with fire” by escalating military actions.

Donald Trump Calls Putin “Crazy”
President Donald Trump has sharply criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling him “absolutely crazy” following Russia’s latest aerial assault on Ukraine.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed frustration over Putin’s aggressive actions, stating that the Russian leader is “needlessly killing a lot of people” by launching missiles and drones into Ukrainian cities.
“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him,” Trump said in his post. “He has gone absolutely CRAZY! He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever.”
Trump’s rebuke of Putin is a rare shift in tone, as he has previously maintained a relatively diplomatic stance toward the Russian leader. However, the recent surge in violence appears to have tested his patience.

While condemning Putin, Trump also criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, accusing him of worsening the situation with his rhetoric.
Donald Trump has yet to outline any concrete measures beyond his verbal warnings.
