Who stands to lose more in the ongoing feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk? A the two burn bridges and turn their relationship sour, one Fox news reporter talking to Stephen A. Smith, gave his honest opinion on who could end up losing more, should this exchange of blows between the two figures continue.
In one of the recent episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” Fox News reporter and political commentator Will Cain got honest about who he thinks would stand as the bigger loser in the feud between President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.
For Cain, while Trump also stands to lose something in breaking his relationship with Musk apart, the tech mogul stands to lose more, should he continue to fully antagonize the President of the United States.
“First of all, Musk does have government contracts,” Cain said. “I don’t think he cares as much about EV tax credits. He’s incredibly passionate about space and NASA and SpaceX. And he stands to lose on one of his biggest passions should he make a complete enemy of the President of the United States.”
More than getting his business and finances hit, Cain believes that Elon Musk is set to lose more in the credibility department, should he continue to play the role of the villain against Trump. After all, he was not elected to office, unlike Trump.
“I also think Musk will run into a credibility issue if he keeps doing things like the accusations around Jeffrey Epstein or impeachment,” Cain added. Look, the American people voted for Donald Trump. They didn’t vote for Elon Musk. That doesn’t mean there’s a lot of people that might have been persuaded to his side because of the influence of Musk. But in the end, he is the man that’s elected to the president of the United States. And I think there’s a floor on the amount of damage.”

So far, Elon Musk has cut ties with Trump, even hinting at supporting calls for the impeachment of the President.
Why Did Elon Musk Cut Ties with Donald Trump?
Tech mogul and billionaire Elon Musk cut ties with President Donald Trump recently, particularly over Trump’s vocal support and push for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which Trump has greatly criticized.

The bill was introduced during the 119th Congress and passed with a vote of 215-214. Trump pushed for the bill as her said it would aim to implement tax cuts, spending reductions, and numerous policy changes.

Musk, on the other hand, criticized Donald Trump as he pointed out that the bill would end up causing a bigger federal deficit and impacting the economy negatively in the long run.
