Donald Trump is no stranger to the NFL. In fact, back in the early 2010s Trump even tried to purchase the Buffalo Bills. He also became the first sitting President to attend a Super Bowl when he watched the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.
Now he is seeing one current head coach gloat about his opportunity to go to the White House.
Donald Trump Sees NFL Head Coach Make Extremely Passionate Public Remark About Him

In anticipation of the Philadelphia Eagles’ White House visit, Nick Sirianni says he is really excited:
Following Philadelphia’s Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, false rumors surfaced of the team’s decision to forgo a trip to the nation’s capital. However, the White House announced earlier in March that the Eagles accepted Donald Trump’s invitation.
Sirianni discussed the upcoming visit at the NFL’s annual league meetings on Tuesday.
“I’m really excited to go,” Sirianni said, per PHLY’s Zach Berman. “What an honor to be able to go to the White House. Teams that have been winning the championship have been doing that for a long time, and I’m really honored to go.”

According to the New York Post, the Eagles “enthusiastically” accepted the invitation to go to the White House:
After President Donald Trump became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl when he watched the Eagles wallop the Chiefs in February, Philadelphia will now return the gesture as the team has accepted the White House’s invitation for a visit.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported in early March that both the White House and the team are working out the details but that the visit is in the works.
“We sent the invite, and they enthusiastically accepted,” a White House official said. “We are working with them to determine a date and logistics.”
An Eagles spokesperson confirmed.
