Donald Trump isn’t afraid of appearing in public even after the attempted assassination on his life in 2024. He was seen attending the Super Bowl in February, and now, he will be attending a college National Championship Match.

Trump plans to attend this weekend’s NCAA wrestling championship in Philadelphia, weeks after the association banned transgender women from participating in female sports:
The president’s attendance was confirmed by two people familiar with the trip and granted anonymity to share details.
Trump in early February signed an executive order that halted transgender women from participating in female sports.
Trump has long been a fan of wrestling and has used the sport to drive what became a central promise of his campaign: banning transgender women from competing in female sports.
Trump also routinely attends UFC fights and, a month out from Election Day, brought on stage the Penn State national champion wrestling team during a rally at the university’s sports arena.
Charlie Baker, the former Republican governor of Massachusetts who is now president of the NCAA, has a rocky political relationship with the president. Baker in 2020 said he “blanked” his ballot in opposition to Trump. Trump has waged attacks against Baker and called the former governor “selfish.”
He has been traveling domestically frequently since taking office, and his attendance at the championship is no exception. He rarely leaves Washington, except to visit his Florida residence, Mar-a-Lago. But when he does venture out, it is usually for sporting events like the Super Bowl and the Daytona 500.
The president is not attending the college wrestling championship for the first time. In 2023, he attended the championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Waste of tax dollars. They want to stop waste spending and “fraud” then he shouldn’t be attending these events unless it’s on his own dime. The guy wants to stop fraud when he was convicted on 34 counts of fraud. It’s beyond dumb.
