Dolphins Announce Tyreek Hill’s Availability After Arrest Sunday Morning (Report)

The Miami Dolphins saw their star player have a rather interesting morning.  According to multiple reports Tyreek Hill was placed in handcuffs and detained by police just hours before Miami’s season opener.

Of course, this news left fans (and team team) scrambling to find out if Hill would be available against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Robin Adams covered exactly what happened with Tyreek Hill this morning:

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was arrested hours before kickoff for a driving violation. Further reports revealed that Hill was pulled over speeding and is apparently being charged with reckless driving.

This is bad timing because the Dolphins have a 1:05 p.m. EST kickoff time today. So, some fans and football bettors may be concerned that Hill will not make it out in time for said kickoff.

However, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is reassuring these people that Hill will still play today. This is what Rosenhaus said to Schefter about Hill’s status:

“I just left Tyreek and he is getting ready to play today.” -Drew Rosenhaus
