Bill Belichick’s North Carolina experiment is quickly falling apart. The legendary coach sits at 3-5 after scoring the first conference win against the Syracuse Orange. However, his locker room is still fractured, and the team’s performance remains underwhelming. In the process, there’s one glaring absence that’s got everyone talking: Where the hell is Jordon Hudson?

The 24-year-old was supposed to micromanage every aspect of Belichick’s brand. But suddenly, she has gone radio silent since UNC started hemorrhaging games. That prompts analysts to raise questions about whether Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend may not want to stay with a losing team.
College Football Analyst Notice Something Missing as Bill Belichick’s GF’s Absence Looms Over UNC
On a recent episode of “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” college football analyst Jason McIntyre dropped the absolute question everyone’s been thinking.
“I’m curious, where’s Jordon Hudson been? Since that TV show fell apart, and Bill Belichick started losing, I’m not seeing a lot of her anymore. Does she not want to hang around losers?”
Though that’s brutal, it captures the Belichick and Tar Heels narrative perfectly.
Recently, Pablo Torre shared hot-mic footage that showed Hudson micromanaging Belichick’s defunct NFL Films show “Coach” last September. She criticized graphics teams. She belittled production staff. She questioned costs.
“It seems like Bill trusts her inherently…. She can do everything,” Torre reported alongside leaked video clips.

When HBO and NFL Films started planning a Hard Knocks season around UNC, Jordon Hudson demanded content approval and partial ownership of the show. Days before the announcement, NFL Films shut it down.
Public records obtained by ESPN showed Hudson was expected to have a major role in the project. A “talking points” memo from UNC’s PR team even noted, “Jordon is playing an active role in the filming and production of a documentary about Coach Belichick’s first season of college football.”
The documentary got scrapped. And Hudson? She’s nowhere to be found on the sidelines anymore. Her absence shows how messy things are at UNC. Or maybe it helped them beat the Orange.
Belichick’s UNC Locker Room Turmoil Reaches Critical Mass
While Hudson remains absent, UNC football is struggling under a chaotic environment. Multiple sources say the team’s losses stem from a divided locker room, a disorganized coaching staff, and poor communication.
Colin Cowherd summed it up bluntly on his show. “The thing that we’ve learned with College Football coaching. You can’t have a roster of 60% transfers. It ruins chemistry. You’re gonna miss too many guys. It’s gonna create animosity in the room. I think the thing that’s gone wrong with Bill Belichick is they spent a lot of money on a lot of players that didn’t hit,” he said.
He’s not wrong. General Manager Michael Lombardi brought in 70 new players, yet the team sits at 3-5. It’s common in college football for players who transfer to get paid more than players who stay, but according to multiple sources, Belichick and his staff haven’t done enough to unite the players.
