After exceeding expectations last season by attending their first NFC Championship game in three decades, the Detroit Lions have sold out Ford Field for the 2024 regular season.
With no more seats available at Ford Field in 2024, the Lions have already begun a waitlist for the 2025-26 regular season starting at $100 dollars a seat. However, this will be a non-refundable deposit. Detroit, who were once the laughingstock of the NFL have made a complete turnaround to not only their football team, but their fan base is also invested in the culture they are building.
Detroit Lions Finished with a Record of 6-2 at Ford Field Last Season

Playing behind a sold-out crowd last season, the Lions achieved a dominating record of 6-2 at home while putting up an average of 29.9 points per game. This was the fifth best point total by a home team in 2023. Finishing 12-5 and winning the NFC North made Detroit one of the most popular teams heading into the playoffs and built on it by making the NFC Championship.
Lions President Ron Wood spoke on the recent ticket sales saying that 96 percent of season ticket holders renewed their seats for next season and there are around 20,000 people on the waitlist. Wood also believes that unveiling their new uniforms will boost their chances of filling out all six prime-time games in 2024.
2024 NFL Schedule Will Be Released on Wednesday, May 15th

While Ford Field is going to be at full capacity all season, the NFL has yet to release its full schedule to the public. That announcement will take place on Wednesday, May 15th at 8:00 PM Eastern time on NFL Network. What we do know is the Lions will have to play each team in their division twice and the NFC North is looking more competitive than last year.
The Chicago Bears have made key changes to beef up their offense including drafting Caleb Williams with the first pick, the Green Bay Packers are always a difficult task and the Minnesota Vikings have a couple of new quarterbacks in town. The division race will be a challenge for the Lions heading into next season and the fans should have plenty of entertaining football to watch no matter the schedule that is released.
