The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers will be fierce competitors for the NFC North crown in 2024. It may remain that way for a few years to come, taking into account that both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will be starting over at quarterback this season.
The Lions just announced news that will bode well for their defense going into the season.
The Detroit Lions Announce Incredible News For Their Defense

Tuesday, the Lions provided an update on rookie CB Terrion Arnold’s health. NFL reporter Ian Rapoport reports that Arnold will not miss any time during the regular season due to his pec injury.
Initially, Arnold, the 24th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, was reported to have an upper-body injury. A trainer accompanied him during Monday’s season-ticket member practice.
Carlton Davis III, the projected starter opposite Arnold, missed practice entirely due to an unknown illness. The Lions are still waiting for updates on Davis and Rakestraw. It is not expected that Lions head coach Dan Campbell will speak with the media again until Saturday’s preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Arnold will play a big role in the Lions’ defensive plans if he is able to stay on the field and stay healthy.
